خان پور میں آٹھ سالہ بچی اور والدہ پر آہنی راڈ سے مبینہ تشدد، پولیس کی خاموشی، متاثرہ خاندان انصاف کے منتظر ، بلال کالونی تھانہ سٹی کی حدود میں ایک ہفتہ قبل پیش آنے والے واقعہ میں آٹھ سالہ بچی اور اس کی والدہ پر مبینہ طور پر آہنی راڈ سے تشدد کیا گیا، مگر پولیس تاحال کوئی کارروائی نہ کر سکی ، متاثرہ خاتون زاہدہ پروین زوجہ محمود احمد کے مطابق محلہ بلال کالونی میں مقیم میاں امتیاز اور اس کے اہل خانہ نے گھر میں غیر قانونی طور پر خطرناک کتے اور بلیاں پال رکھے ہیں۔ گزشتہ ہفتے ان کی بیٹی، آٹھ سالہ سویرا بی بی، موٹر سائیکل پر بیٹھی ایک بلی کو ہٹانے لگی تو ہمسایوں نے گالیاں دینا شروع کر دیں۔ شور سن کر وہ بیٹی کا دفاع کرنے باہر آئیں تو جھگڑا شدت اختیار کر گیا ، زاہدہ پروین کے مطابق جھگڑے کے دوران میاں امتیاز کی بیوی اور بیٹی نے لوہے کا راڈ ان کے سر پر مارا جس سے وہ شدید زخمی ہو گئیں۔ زخمی خاتون کو اسپتال منتقل کیا گیا، تاہم مبینہ طور پر اسپتال عملے نے ملی بھگت کرتے ہوئے میڈیکو لیگل رپورٹ (ایم ایل سی) فیل کر دی ، اہلِ خانہ نے 15 پر کال کر کے پولیس کو اطلاع دی، پولیس موقع پر پہنچی لیکن ایک ہفتہ گزر جانے کے باوجود کوئی مقدمہ درج نہیں کیا گیا۔ متاثرہ خاندان کا کہنا ہے کہ ملزمان اب بھی گالی گلوچ کر رہے ہیں اور جان سے مارنے کی دھمکیاں دے رہے ہیں ، اہلِ علاقہ اور متاثرہ خاندان نے وزیرِاعلیٰ پنجاب اور اعلیٰ حکام سے اپیل کی ہے کہ ملزمان کے خلاف فوری کارروائی کی جائے اور شہری علاقوں میں غیر قانونی طور پر خطرناک جانور رکھنے پر بھی پابندی عائد کی جائے ۔

According to the victim, Zahida Parveen, wife of Mahmood Ahmed, Mian Imtiaz, a resident of Bilal Colony locality, and his family illegally keep dangerous dogs and cats in their house. Last week, when their daughter, eight-year-old Sawira Bibi, tried to remove a cat sitting on a motorcycle, the neighbors started abusing her. Hearing the noise, she came out to defend her daughter, and the argument intensified. According to Zahida Parveen, during the argument, Mian Imtiaz's wife and daughter hit her on the head with an iron rod, which seriously injured her. The injured woman was shifted to the hospital, however, the hospital staff allegedly connived and failed to file the medico-legal report (MLC). The family called 15 and informed the police. The police reached the spot but no case was registered even after a week. The victim’s family says that the accused are still abusing her and threatening to kill her. The local people and the victim’s family have appealed to the Chief Minister of Punjab and higher authorities to take immediate action against the accused and also impose a ban on keeping dangerous animals illegally in urban areas.
