Motorway Police M-5 Recover Non-Custom Paid Vehicle Worth Rs 3.5 Million Near Zahir Pir
Motorway Police M-5 carried out a successful operation near Zahir Pir and recovered a non-custom paid vehicle worth approximately Rs 3 to 3.5 million. The operation was conducted as part of the ongoing campaign against smuggling on national highways.
According to the spokesperson of Motorway Police Central Region, a suspicious Wagon R was stopped during routine checking on the M-5 motorway near Zahir Pir. Upon inspection, the vehicle was found to be non-custom paid. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was being smuggled from Quetta to Multan.
After receiving information, customs authorities reached the spot and verified that the recovered vehicle was non-custom paid. The Motorway Police handed over the arrested suspect, the recovered vehicle, and a mobile phone to the customs department for further legal proceedings.
Officials stated that such operations will continue in order to curb smuggling and ensure the rule of law on motorways. Motorway Police urged the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and report any suspicious activity to help maintain safety and legality on highways.

ترجمان موٹروے پولیس سینٹرل ریجن کے مطابق ایم فائیو موٹروے پر ظاہر پیر کے قریب معمول کی چیکنگ کے دوران ایک مشکوک ویگن آر کو روکا گیا۔ معائنہ کرنے پر گاڑی نان کسٹم پیڈ پائی گئی۔ مزید تفتیش میں معلوم ہوا کہ گاڑی کوئٹہ سے ملتان سمگل کی جارہی تھی۔
اطلاع ملنے پر کسٹم حکام موقع پر پہنچ گئے اور تصدیق کی کہ برآمد شدہ گاڑی نان کسٹم پیڈ تھی۔ موٹروے پولیس نے گرفتار ملزم، برآمد شدہ گاڑی اور ایک موبائل فون مزید قانونی کارروائی کے لیے محکمہ کسٹم کے حوالے کر دیا۔
حکام نے بتایا کہ اسمگلنگ کی روک تھام اور موٹر ویز پر قانون کی حکمرانی کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے اس طرح کی کارروائیاں جاری رہیں گی۔ موٹروے پولیس نے عوام پر زور دیا کہ وہ قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کے ساتھ تعاون کریں اور کسی بھی مشکوک سرگرمی کی اطلاع دیں تاکہ شاہراہوں پر حفاظت اور قانونی حیثیت کو برقرار رکھنے میں مدد ملے۔
