Polio Awareness Seminar and Walk Held at Rahim Yar Khan Rangers Institute of Technical Education

 رحیم یار خان رینجرز انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف ٹیکنیکل ایجوکیشن میں پولیو سے متعلق آگاہی سیمینار اور علامتی واک کا انعقاد کیا گیا جس میں طلباء کی بڑی تعداد نے بڑھ چڑھ کر حصہ لیا۔ سیمینار میں پولیو کے خاتمے اور ذیابیطس سے متعلق آگاہی پر توجہ مرکوز کی گئی۔

پرنسپل محمد فرحان عامر، محکمہ صحت کے محمد شاہد، اعجاز احمد (سوشل نیڈ آفیسر، سوشل ویلفیئر اینڈ بیت المال)، روٹری کلب کے ممتاز بیگ اور دیگر مقررین نے اس بات پر روشنی ڈالی کہ پولیو ویکسین کے دو قطرے بچوں کو عمر بھر کی معذوری سے بچا سکتے ہیں۔

مقررین نے پولیو کی موجودہ صورتحال، ہیلتھ ورکرز کی کاوشوں اور عوامی آگاہی کی اہمیت کے بارے میں قیمتی معلومات شیئر کیں۔ پرنسپل محمد فرحان عامر نے اس بات کو یقینی بنانے کی ضرورت پر زور دیا کہ کوئی بچہ ویکسین سے محروم نہ رہے تاکہ آنے والی نسل صحت مند اور محفوظ رہے۔

پولیو ایک خطرناک اور لاعلاج وائرس ہے جو انسان سے دوسرے انسان میں پھیلتا ہے اور بچوں کو مستقل طور پر معذور کر سکتا ہے۔ محکمہ صحت کی ٹیمیں گھر گھر جا کر پیدائش سے پانچ سال تک کے بچوں کو پولیو کے قطرے پلا رہی ہیں۔ طلباء نے ایک علامتی آگاہی واک میں بھی حصہ لیا اور تقریب کے اختتام پر مقررین اور شرکاء میں شیلڈز تقسیم کی گئیں۔

A polio awareness seminar and symbolic walk were organized at Rahim Yar Khan Rangers Institute of Technical Education, where a large number of students actively participated. The seminar focused on polio eradication and diabetes awareness.
Principal Muhammad Farhan Aamir, Muhammad Shahid from the Health Department, Ejaz Ahmed (Social Need Officer, Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal), Mumtaz Baig from Rotary Club, and other speakers highlighted that two drops of polio vaccine can save children from lifelong disability.
Speakers shared valuable information about the current polio situation, the efforts of health workers, and the importance of public awareness. Principal Muhammad Farhan Aamir emphasized the need to ensure that no child remains unvaccinated so that the future generation remains healthy and safe.
Polio is a dangerous and incurable virus that spreads from person to person and can permanently disable children. Health department teams are visiting door to door to vaccinate children from birth to five years of age. Students also participated in a symbolic awareness walk, and shields were distributed among speakers and participants at the end of the event.
