Farmer’s Complaint from Khanpur Alleged Corruption at Canal 1L Mogha 37513, Chak 23-P

A farmer from Tehsil Khanpur has raised serious allegations regarding corruption at Canal 1L, Mogha No. 37513, Chak 23-P. According to his statement, the concerned staff allegedly demand bribes for operating the water outlet and installing irrigation pipes.

The farmer claims that Rs. 10,000 is demanded to run the mogha and Rs. 5,000 for pipe installation. If the amount is not paid, the water outlet allegedly remains closed, causing severe loss to farmers.

It is further alleged that certain landowners, in collaboration with local staff, manage to operate the outlet at night by paying money, depriving other farmers of their rightful water share. This issue highlights serious concerns about irrigation management and transparency in the region.
