Rescue 1122 Rahim Yar Khan Saves 4 Stranded People in Desert

Rescue 1122 Rahim Yar Khan successfully conducted a daring operation to save four individuals — two men and two women — stranded in a desert area. Due to a wrong shortcut suggested by Google Maps, their motorcycles ran out of petrol, leaving them in extreme danger.

The control room team, led by JCO Saira and shift in-charge Faiz, coordinated with Rangers HQ and field rescue staff. Shaheen Islam (JCO) managed continuous tracking and guidance. A 4x4 ambulance traveled 47 km, including 20 km of rough terrain, to reach the victims. Rescue staff Shahid Mahmood (EMT) and Muhammad Bilal (Driver) walked 5 km through sand dunes to safely rescue them.

This operation is a testament to the professionalism, courage, and swift action of Rescue 1122, preventing a potential tragedy.
