Stray Dog Menace in Gulshan-e-Usman, Rahim Yar Khan: Residents Living in Fear

Gulshan-e-Usman, a residential area in Rahim Yar Khan, is currently facing a serious problem due to the increasing number of stray dogs. Residents have reported that these dogs roam freely in streets and alleys, causing fear and anxiety among children, women, and elderly people.

The situation has worsened as no effective action has been taken by the concerned authorities. Residents say that the stray dogs often chase pedestrians, bark aggressively, and sometimes even attack. This has created an unsafe environment, especially for children who are afraid to go out alone.

Local residents have demanded immediate intervention from the administration. They want a proper campaign to control the stray dog population, ensuring the safety of citizens and preventing any possible tragic incidents.

Without prompt action, the residents fear that the situation could lead to severe injuries or loss of life. Therefore, it is crucial for the authorities to address the issue and protect the lives of the people living in Gulshan-e-Usman.

رحیم یار خان کے رہائشی علاقے گلشن عثمان کو اس وقت آوارہ کتوں کی بڑھتی ہوئی تعداد کے باعث شدید پریشانی کا سامنا ہے۔ مکینوں نے بتایا ہے کہ یہ کتے گلیوں اور گلیوں میں آزادانہ گھومتے ہیں جس سے بچوں، خواتین اور بزرگوں میں خوف و ہراس پایا جاتا ہے۔

متعلقہ حکام کی جانب سے کوئی موثر کارروائی نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے صورتحال مزید خراب ہو گئی ہے۔ مکینوں کا کہنا ہے کہ آوارہ کتے اکثر پیدل چلنے والوں کا پیچھا کرتے ہیں، جارحانہ انداز میں بھونکتے ہیں اور بعض اوقات حملہ بھی کر دیتے ہیں۔ اس سے ایک غیر محفوظ ماحول پیدا ہوا ہے، خاص طور پر ان بچوں کے لیے جو اکیلے باہر جانے سے ڈرتے ہیں۔

اہل علاقہ نے انتظامیہ سے فوری مداخلت کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔ وہ چاہتے ہیں کہ آوارہ کتوں کی آبادی کو کنٹرول کرنے کے لیے ایک مناسب مہم چلائی جائے، شہریوں کی حفاظت کو یقینی بنایا جائے اور کسی بھی ممکنہ المناک واقعات کو روکا جائے۔

فوری کارروائی کے بغیر، رہائشیوں کو خدشہ ہے کہ صورتحال شدید زخمی یا جانی نقصان کا باعث بن سکتی ہے۔ اس لیے حکام کے لیے ضروری ہے کہ وہ اس مسئلے کو حل کریں اور گلشن عثمان میں رہنے والے لوگوں کی جانوں کا تحفظ کریں۔
